You can opt in through your employee account once your roster administrator enables staff emails for a location. These employee preferences are separate from administrator notifications.
Turn employee email notifications on or off
On mobile, open the menu in the top-left corner.

Expand Notifications.
Turn Email notifications on to opt in, or off to opt out.

Wait for your preference to finish saving. Changes save automatically; there is no separate Save button. If an error appears, try again and check the setting.
If staff emails are not enabled
If Notifications says your rostering admins have not enabled email notifications, ask your roster administrator to enable staff emails. The example below shows this disabled state, not the email-notification toggle.

What the emails cover
Email helps you hear about changes; check the current published roster before your shift for the latest information.
Where enabled and applicable to you, employee emails can report:
A roster being published or updated.
A first roster publication.
An available open shift or an open shift being cancelled.
A shift swap being approved automatically.
This is not a promise that every request decision or roster action generates an email. Check the relevant request or schedule in the app for its current state.
If an expected email does not arrive
Check that you are looking in the mailbox for your RosterLab account, including its junk folder.
Check your employee notification setting for the relevant location.
Ask the administrator to confirm that staff emails are enabled and that the roster change applies to you.
Check the app directly while the notification issue is being investigated.
If you need help, provide the location, the type of change and approximately when it happened. Do not include your password. Turning notifications on is not a guarantee that an older event will be emailed again.
