A calendar subscription receives later changes, while importing a calendar file creates a one-time copy. Start from your signed-in employee view.
Treat your calendar link as private. Someone you give it to may be able to see the roster information it contains. Share it only with people you intend to give that visibility.

Add that link as a subscription in your calendar service using the instructions below.
Apple Calendar
On iPhone or iPad, open Calendar, then Calendars > Add Calendar > Add Subscription Calendar. Enter the RosterLab link and complete the prompts. The confirmation labels differ between iOS versions.
On Mac, use File > New Calendar Subscription, enter the link, and complete the subscription settings. Choose iCloud if you want the subscription available on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Apple's current instructions.
Google Calendar, including Android
Add the subscription from a computer browser, not the Google Calendar mobile app:
Open Google Calendar.
Beside Other calendars, open the add menu and choose From URL.
Paste your RosterLab calendar link and select Add calendar.
Then check the same Google account on your phone and make sure that calendar is visible. Use the URL option, not the option that asks for another person's Google email address. Google's calendar-link instructions.
Outlook
In Outlook.com or Outlook on the web, open Calendar > Add calendar > Subscribe from web. Paste the link and complete the import/save prompts for the subscription. Avoid Upload from file if you want future changes to appear. Microsoft's subscription instructions.
If shifts are missing or your calendar is out of date
If a published shift is missing, check that you subscribed to the correct location and that the calendar is visible.
External calendar services control when they refresh subscriptions. Updates are not immediate, and Outlook can take more than 24 hours. Check RosterLab for the latest published shifts, especially after a last-minute change.
If changes never appear, check whether you imported a file rather than subscribed to a link. Also check that the subscription has not been hidden or removed. If you replace a subscription, remove an obsolete copy to avoid showing duplicate shifts.
Where Regenerate link is available, it replaces the link used by existing subscriptions. After regenerating, update the URL in every calendar that should continue receiving your shifts.
