Admin Email Notifications
Admins can opt in to receive email notifications for roster activity across their organisation. This keeps you informed of updates made by both employees and other admins without needing to be logged in to RosterLab.
What you can be notified about:
Roster published
Special preference submitted
Leave request submitted
Shift swap requested or auto-approved
Shift swap requires admin approval
Shift swap approved/declined by admin
Open shift accepted or declined
Open shift published
How to set up: on the desktop admin app open the roster settings page then navigate to notification settings. Toggle on the notifications you want to receive.
Employee Email Notifications
Employees can receive email notifications for the following:
Roster published / updated
First-time roster published
Open shift available
Open shift cancelled
Shift swap auto-approved

Note: staff can choose to opt out of email notifications from their employee app
