Employee access lets you use your own schedule, while planning and configuration access support different roster-management tasks.
Sign in with the account used for your invitation or access grant, then check which location or sub-roster you want to work in.

Distinguish membership from planning permissions
Employee membership lets you use the employee experience for your schedule and available requests. Planning access supports administrative work within its granted scope. Configuration access, such as changing employees, rules or entity definitions, is not identical to day-to-day allocation and request access.
In department-enabled setups, permissions may apply across the department or to selected sub-rosters. Coordinator and collaborator access are not interchangeable: operational work and configuration capabilities differ. A person's effective access can also combine grants in different contexts. Use the actions available in the intended scope and ask your owner or authorised administrator to confirm a grant rather than inferring a hierarchy from role names.
Skills, task eligibility and area assignments affect rostering. They are not substitutes for administrative permission grants.
Switch between your employee and planning views
If your account has both kinds of access:
1. From the desktop planning interface, select the calendar icon at the top right, labelled Employee view on hover.
2. Open your published employee schedule and choose the task you need.
3. To return to the planning interface, select Schedules at the top left.
4. Confirm the location and period before continuing administrative work.

Switching views does not itself add an employee membership or grant administrative permissions.
What each view shows
Employee view shows your published shifts and available requests. Planning view shows the roster-management navigation and actions available to you. Before making planning changes, select the roster and period you intend to work on.
If a view or action is missing
No employee schedule after switching: check that your account is linked to the correct employee membership and that the expected roster is published.
No planning controls: check that you have planning access, not only employee access.
You can edit allocations but not configuration: these capabilities may be granted differently; ask the authorised administrator to review the specific task.
Department roster unavailable on mobile: use desktop for department administration.
A feature is missing: permissions are only one possibility; plan/configuration and device support also matter.

The access available to you can vary between locations and sub-rosters. Access to one location does not automatically give you access to another. Check the relevant membership or grant for each location you need to use.
